The Birth of Isthaka

Buringot the Wizard was suddenly awakened . It is a recurring dream that has bothered the old sorcerer.    He got of his bed and walked toward the window.  He peeked outside and saw nothing unusual.  It was a quiet and starless night.  The thick Taroytoy forest lay motionless as no wind blew over its tree tops.   There was nothing that would alert him.   There is no soul for a miles but erie old trees and usual creatures of the night.

The old wizard got his pipe and lit it.  Suddenly, a sweet scent of Uraroy filled Buringot's unlighted hut.  He sat at the edge of the bed.  He does not want to sleep.  He was trying to remember his dream but could only recall scenes.

Buringot is already old.  213 years old to be precise.  He lives alone in this part of the kingdom to avoid inquires about his longevity.  Having outlived four kings, those who knew of his continued existence wanted to probe into his secret.
